Shrimp cultivation and exportation is one of the staple economic incomes for most of Asian countries such as Thailand, China, Indonesia and etc.
Overall, poor weather and high incidence of disease in many areas in China appear to show that farmed shrimp production will be lower in the first half of this year than last year. It is predicted that China will become the largest global shrimp importer this year.1
